Work is underway on a major update that will transform how levels look and play in Warman.
Terrain Overhaul
The new terrain system supports height changes, cliffs, bridges, elevated platforms, and valleys. Rooms now have significantly more foliage and environmental detail while maintaining strong performance. Map loading times have been reduced to under one second in testing, meaning even large maps will not cause long loading screens.
Internal Tooling
All of this is built with custom internal tools that could eventually be published for community map creation. The tools work but need more polish and documentation before a public release.
Terrain Detail
Work continues on adding detail to the terrain tilesets, roads with small pebbles, textured grass, and biome-specific ground materials. The other biomes beyond the first are still being finished.
